Week 3 of the Wealthy Affiliate Bootcamp was all about building my social foundation – setting up my Facebook Page, developing consistent posting habits, and learning how to share valuable, authentic content that genuinely connects.
I’ll admit this week was a bit of a scramble (and fueled by a lot of coffee). While I checked off most of the official tasks, I also went far beyond – automating my posting system, building an entire year’s worth of content, and diving deep into planning for long-term consistency.
Here’s how the week unfolded.

Official Week 3 Focus
The theme of Week 3 was about launching your Facebook Page and expanding your social reach.
The goal this week was to create a solid social foundation that supports my business long-term – and to start leveraging Facebook as a real brand platform instead of a side thought.

What I Actually Accomplished in Week 3
Facebook Page Setup
Finalized my page branding – profile photo, cover image, and bio. Added a business email and notifications. In all honesty, I had much of this done already in Week 1 when I chose my domain name. At that time, I created social accounts to make sure that I could get the same name across socials.
Seeded the Page with Core Content
Four introductory posts: a welcome message, a Wealthy Affiliate Challenge post (with affiliate link in comments), a motivational tip, and a behind-the-scenes peek.
Invited and Engaged
Invited 25+ friends, shared my Page in the Bootcamp group, and interacted with other participants.
Created a Posting Routine
Scheduled multiple posts throughout the week – varied content types at staggered times for testing engagement.
Promoted Wealthy Affiliate Authentically
Crafted a clear invitation highlighting the free Starter membership and 2,000 AI credits, with tracking tags for analytics.
Cross-Promotion and Content Sharing
Shared both my new WA blog and one of my own site posts on Facebook.
Published New Posts
I published 3 new posts in Week 3.
- How to Identify a Customer Avatar for Your Online Business
- How to Write Content That Converts
- Smart Content Plan for Your Online Business
Extra Credit (Because I Can’t Help Myself)
Created a Year’s Worth of Social Content
Bulk created enough of certain types of social posts to last probably through the end of 2026. This content includes memes, motivational quotes, micro-engagement prompts.
Launched Reels
Introduced Reels to my page and built a library of 150+ short videos for future automation.
Defined My Customer Avatar
Clarified my target audience – midlife professionals and retirees ready to turn their skills into online income.
Still in Progress
Some Week 2 tasks are rolling forward, because I still haven’t finished them. Hopefully I will successfully complete them in Week 4!
- Add tracking links to older posts.
- Add CTAs to those same posts.
Next Week’s Focus (Week 4)
For Week 4, I’ll first be concentrating on the unfinished tasks from Week 2 (hopefully).
- Adding tracking tags and CTAs across older posts.
Also, from Week 3, we were supposed to be doing something about light ad testing with high-performing Facebook content. I’m not entirely sure what we were supposed to do with this one because I’ve never run ads before. And I haven’t had a chance to ask about this yet.
Week 4’s focus is on writing product reviews that build authority and convert. So, it’s on to Week 4!
Conclusion
This week wasn’t just about setting up a Facebook Page – it was about creating a sustainable system for visibility. By automating social posting through ContentStudio, I freed up hours for strategy and content creation. Automation of our social posting was not technically a task in Week 3, but I felt like I needed to take some time to set it up.
Honestly, Week 3 of Bootcamp somewhat kicked my butt! I felt behind the entire time and had to scramble to catch up. But, part of the reason for that is that I veered off the official task list and decided to get the automation thing going, so that sucked up a lot of my available time.
But, consistency is already showing results: engagement is climbing and posting feels effortless instead of chaotic. The foundation is set, and now it’s time to grow.
